Do you agree with this?

-- @caplannfl Per an #NFL personnel director to me this morning on reason why WR market has been slow: "When you look at this draft, how much better are the guys on the street versus those guys?" "When you look at this draft, how much better are the guys on the street versus those guys?" Could be one of the most historically talented draft classes EVER.--

Maybe. I hope GB picks up a couple of WR this year.

We won’t know if that’s true until a couple of years go by.
How many times have college players that “couldn’t miss”, DID miss.
Then you look at a guy like Donald Driver, a 7th round pick, who had an excellent career. Of course he had Favre and Rodgers, two great QBs getting the ball to him.
A great WR might not be great in the NFL without a good QB throwing the ball.

But with the WR FA being slow, that also means teams might be able to get some very good deals that would normally cost them a lot more in other years.

And that way you could either double up on the position at WR in the draft like the Packers did in FA and the draft last year with OLB, S and G...

Or select a different position all together.

That true, Beast. It might hold prices down if agents think their guys won’t get signed if they ask for too much with the perceived good WR draft.

Jalen Reagor is by far my favorite prospect in this draft, minus the people who clearly won't be available at 30. As much as we need an ILB, Reagor is my 1a.

Lot of talent in later rounds though too. Tyler Johnson is a nice player. Cephus of course. Omar Bayless. Joe Reed.

2021 should be another great year for WRs. At a quick glance I have seen boards have 4 in the top 10. Up to 10 going in the first round. (They won't. Someone at another position who falls will be taken instead.) And a lot of depth again.

CBs will be big next year too.

But that is next year.

And I should have been more specific to what area I was talking about. I like the number of good potential projects of CB that some are projecting might fall to the late 1st to mid 2nd round range. I think that tier of CBs looks talented and a good number of them.

Though some of them are limited to maximuming their potential to certain type of schemes, and the more complete ones are smaller, which is why they are they are being projected higher.

But I feel there are talented guys that are not getting talked about enough by fans and will be selected higher than what I'm currently hearing such as CB Jaylon Johnson, Utah, whom I think very well might be a 1st round selection for some man coverage or 3 quater zone team, unless the medical stuff scares teams off. Or Jeff Gladney, TCU, whom I see as a less talented Jaire Alexander, but he's quite verstile and can play any scheme you ask, but might be best in zone.

Outside of that small projected range I haven't really checked out the CB depth. So they're probably right.

Zero2Cool (41m) : what
Martha Careful (11h) : WINNING IT, not someone else losing it. The best victory though was re-uniting with his wife
Martha Careful (11h) : The manner in which he won it was just amazing and wonderful. First blowing the lead then getting back, then blowing it. But ultimately
Zero2Cool (12-Apr) : I'm guessing since the thumb was broken, he wasn't feeling it.
dfosterf (10-Apr) : Looking for guidance. Not feeling the thumb.
Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : If they knew about it or not
Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : I don't recall that he did which is why I asked.
Zero2Cool (10-Apr) : Guessing they probably knew. Did he have cast or something on?
Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : Did they know that at the time or was that something the realized afterwards?
Zero2Cool (9-Apr) : Van Ness played most of season with broken thumb

Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : WR who said he'd break Xavier Worthy 40 time...and ran slower than you
Mucky Tundra (2-Apr) : Who?
Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : Texas’ WR Isaiah Bond is scheduled to visit the Bills, Browns, Chiefs, Falcons, Packers and Titans starting next week.
Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : Spotting ball isn't changing, only measuring distance is, Which wasn't the issue.
Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : The spotting of the ball IS the issue. Not the chain gang.
Mucky Tundra (2-Apr) : Will there be a tracker on the ball or something?
Zero2Cool (1-Apr) : uh oh
Martha Careful (1-Apr) : Too bad camera's can't spot the ball as well.
Mucky Tundra (1-Apr) : So will the chain gang be gone completely or will they still be around as a backup or whatever?
Zero2Cool (1-Apr) : The method for measuring first downs in the NFL will switch from chain gangs to camera-based technology in 2025, the league announced.
Martha Careful (1-Apr) : A big step in the right direction. Just put in the college system is very very good.
Zero2Cool (1-Apr) : NFL has passed a rule that allows both teams to possess the ball in OT during the regular season
Zero2Cool (1-Apr) : Touchbacks on kickoffs will now bring the ball to the 35-yard line.
beast (31-Mar) : It might of gotten more popular recently, but braiding hair (even men) in certain cultures goes back for centuries.
Martha Careful (30-Mar) : Is men braiding their hair a new style thing? Watching the NCAA men's tournament many players have done

earthquake (27-Mar) : And we went and hung out with him one afternoon, I must have been 9 or so
earthquake (27-Mar) : That’s wild, when I was a kid my friend lived in the same apartment complex in De Pere
Mucky Tundra (27-Mar) : Only career highspot was a 200 yard rushing game while playing for the Cardinals
Mucky Tundra (27-Mar) : He is a former Packer. Drafted out of Northern Illinois. Didn't do much in GB.
dfosterf (26-Mar) : Despicable
Zero2Cool (26-Mar) : Former NFL. I think Packers too
Zero2Cool (26-Mar) : NFL RB Leshon Johnson has been charged in a massive dog fighting operation, with the FBI seizing over 190 Pit Bulls
Mucky Tundra (26-Mar) : Some real irony of a QB as short as Wilson playing for the Giants
Mucky Tundra (26-Mar) : Giants country, let's be the tall beings of lore!
Mucky Tundra (26-Mar) : Russell Wilson signs with the Giants.
Zero2Cool (25-Mar) : I was thinking email because I think it'll make folks keep it up todate lol
