WR
Our drafted WR's are garbage. Maybe St Brown can turn into something? I will not hold my breath. We tried for three and I think we missed on all three. Valdes-Scantling is someone I'm ready to write off. I know, I know, it takes three years, but shit, there wasn't a jump from year one to year two to make me think year three will be different. I'd keep him and give him a chance, but I wouldn't count on him. I think this draft is loaded with WR talent so let's get some fast ones. And also pluck out a few cheap free agent fast ones too. We need speed!

Do you recall me saying he's getting the ball thrown to him because he's the one guy consistently getting separating during his dropsie season (Jordy ACL) and folks wanted him cut? Because that happened quite a bit. It's okay if you don't recall, don't expect you to. The point here is with Adams I felt I saw something that merited keeping him around and with St Brown and Valdes-Scantling I do not.

It's also easier to keep faith in a 2nd round pick than someone drafted in day three of the draft, so that has to be acknowledged too.

I wouldn't release St Brown or Valdes-Scantling right now. What I will say is if we have a RB and WR graded the same, I wouldn't use St Brown and Valdes-Scantling as reason to take the RB. I wouldn't count on them to be depth or a breakout player. Does that make sense? Not sure if I flubbered my words well enough here lol

Kevin King reminds me a bit of Jarrett Bush, with a dash of Al Harris thrown in for good measure: all the speed in the world (not that Harris was ever a speedster), and maybe even all the talent in the world, but lacking the mental tools and emotional control to harness his natural gifts consistently. A professional who lacks discipline and consistency cannot be relied upon to be a starter over the long term and doesn't deserve to be entrusted that kind of responsibility. At best he can function as a role player in situations suited to his skillset. If Gutekunst can bring in someone more stable—someone more in the mold of an Adrian Amos—to anchor the defensive backfield, perhaps Pettine can carve out a role for King as a sort of roaming, ballhawking nickel or dime back. I could see him excelling there, while doing a minimum of damage on the bank end.

That being said, I'm a little surprised that no one has mentioned my man Tramon Williams, who is going to be 39 next season. He did an admirable job given his advanced age and fading physical abilities, but he too was exposed repeatedly this season. Even if they bring him back in 2020, Green Bay is going to have to come up with a succession plan for him.

Is Tramon a FA again? If so, I don't expect him to be resigned.

I'd take Tee Higgins. The guy has size and speed. Reminds me of Randy Moss. Lots of big play potential. This opinion is based solely on the highlight videos that have been posted to this thread.
