Za’Darius and Preston Smith offered a clutch response to Ray Lewis. The Packers  are in the midst of an astonishing culture change. The result? A 4-1 start to the 2019 season, including two road wins over solid teams.
The latest: last night’s 34-24 victory over the Dallas Cowboys , powered in part by three sacks from Za’Darius and Preston Smith . The Smith Brothers have spearheaded a defense that, while not perfect, has been more than good enough to salt away four wins for the Packers this season.
As much as anyone else, Smith and Smith have been responsible for the turnaround in Green Bay. And as the Packers defense continues to grow, it’s possible that this pair of crown jewels in Brian Gutekunst’s free agency crown may just be getting started.
