I was looking for improvement from last week's game.
There was none.
If there is no improvement against the Raiders, I'm afraid this is probably going to be an ugly season.
I'm hoping for the best!

But only was there no improvement, I'd argue that, even adjusting for the relative strength of opponent, there was regression in every unit.

I can't say I noticed any difference with the starters this week vs the team we saw last week. Only improvement would be that the QB didn't run all over us. or at least it didn't feel like it like it did last week.

I don't think Rodgers is going to make the defense tackle better. I didn't pay attention to the other team. Maybe they weren't tackling well either and it's an NFL issue, not a Packers only issue.

As for the line play, is there a chance they kept their cards that close to the vest to not show their tendencies? I wonder about that. Zero holes to run through, no doubt. We can add, this OL is not used to run blocking like other teams. They were absorbing energy in pass sets possibly 91% of the time last season? 85%? These guys have to be stoked to be able to legitimately T off on the opposing DL in run blocking under LaFleur. Guessing we will run about 40% of the time.

Run blocking, over the duration of a game, can be very effective, especially when there is commitment to it. Doesn't always work early, and a play caller has to have the stones to stick with it early, and take those 1-3 yds and a cloud of dust. That will set everything else up later.

One positive we all can take from last night is they sucked so bad, it should make for a good, real, reset. They will learn from this.

I hope the coach tears them a new one.
If these guys want a roster spot, they better show something in the next 2 weeks.
That’s one of the HUGE problems with no tackling during practice. You are told not to tackle for weeks, and then you are supposed to just turn it on?
