Yooper Fan,

You may very well be right. I hope not.

We have to remember, these kids are....well...kids. They have getting their balls rubbed most of their lives and don't know to react when they are not getting all the accolades.

As Nerd, and others have pointed out, he has great physical skills. I am hoping he hit bottom psychologically and has re-committed himself. I hope it is seashells and balloons from here.

At this point I don't have any faith that Jones is going to all of a sudden going to amount to anything useful to the Green Bay Packers.
I believe that he will be cut at the end of training camp, he might make it to the end of pre season but he will not make the 53.

I think the whole trade me stuff has turned some fans against him. Would you really think its time to move on had he not asked to be traded and soured your opinion of him? Fans have held out hope that lesser players would finally amount to something for longer.

This would be a nonstory if it was anyone else

On the other hand, with MLF being a young first year HC, it is worth noting his attitude and attempts at discipline regardless of the player. He's not putting up with players who don't follow his rules. Would he have sat Amos or Alexander for the same thing? I would hope so.

Pettine had zero tollerance rule when it comes to fighting.

He benched Jones for the rest of practice.

I guess he considered what Jones did was fighting, or was going to lead to a fight.

Hopefully Jones realizes that the better he shows on camp, the easier it will be to trade him, or he comes to his senses and devides he wants to stay.

Good point Porky.
Glad to see the players will know that there will be consequences to their actions.

Has Jones been back? I heard a rumor he might be sulking.

Then again, LaFleur said he had to watch the tape because he didn't get a good look of what happened prior to Jones leveling Carson. So I dunno.
