Taller QBs can see the field better.
But that doesn’t mean a short guy can’t make up for it with talent.

I know it has to do with batted passes, seeing over your linemen et cetera, but there's two things I disagree with.
While the talent lever in the NFL is higher, the length of o-linemen usually isn't. If you could see over them and produce in college, you can do it in the NFL if that'd be the only variable.
There's no statistics to back up that shorter guys throw with trajectories that get their balls batted down more often or get forced into more interceptions. And even if that's the case, do you want to pass on an elite talent like Mayfield because 14 of his 550 passes get batted down at the LOS instead of 9?
I'd prefer my QB to be 6'4, but I think the height of a QB gets way too much attention when looking at the eventual impact it makes in the NFL.
Or did, at least, as Kyler Murray (5'10 on a good day) will probably go 1st overall tonight.
