Unless something happens otherwise, I believe Tramon is currently our starting FS which makes our CB depth a little sketchy without breeland. If we draft a FS high or sign one then we're fine. But we have to make a move to shore up one of the two.

So at this point, we have:
• Jaire Alexander
  • Tramon Williams
  • Kevin King
  • Josh Jackson
  • Tony Brown
  • Will Redmond
  • Natrell Jamerson.
• This group is fine and, relative to other positions on the team I think, has depth. I would be loved to have had Breeland but that didn’t happen. The only issue is if one of these guys is shifted to safety, then you are light in the secondary. I still believe, sans evidence, that Jackson will be shifted to safety.

And it's said to take a Safety three years to learn the position, at least in the old pro style, a bit mentally simpler with the spread stuff, but physical not to be more athletic.King has been here two years and still hasn't played a combined 16 real games. And even if he does stay healthy, Alexander has missed games with injuries his last two years too! It's like Matthews/Perry, you know someone is gonna miss some time, you just don't know how much or how badly their injuries will be.

And CB is one of the most physically demanding and harder position to find good players at (so is OT) but it's not like they're an OG.

So I see the depth chart more like this

Jaire Alexander (and Kevin King as one spot as the other one will get injured)
Josh Jackson
Tony Brown
Will Redmond
Natrell Jamerson.
Sorry to see him go...he was the one of the players I was hoping the Packers would have made a push for.

You are probably right...I went by the Packers website, which is probably a mistake.

Plus I'm sure Tramon would like to play some of both like he talked about and didn't get to do.
