No Green Bay Packers from the 2015 draft class are under contract for the 2019 season. You can't fairly judge a draft class until four years later. With that in mind, it's fair to say the Green Bay Packers' 2015 draft class was one of the worst under Ted Thompson. Just four years later, none

IMO, while history should serve as an aid to future endeavors, dwelling on the past does not serve a good purpose sometimes. Unless it serves a real benefit today and moving forward, let's please not play the blame game. It only fosters negative feelings and I believe that we need the positive feelings that I believe that the future is bringing.

My opinion is just that, my opinion. It is not meant as an attack or put down. I just want to see more positive post moving forward.

They need to learn from the past mistakes, and the past good picks.
Every draft is a crap shoot.
And free agents are proven, but you have to really decide if the player is still relevant, or on the down side of their career. See Jimmy Graham and Cook as examples. Cook was still great and they should have found a way to keep him, and Graham has been a waste of money.

Ryan is ok, but I'm looking forward to a healthy Martinez and Burks. The concern is replacing a slowed down Clay Matthews as GB's Edge Rush has slowed down. The GM will be aware of this and I feel confident that he will be working on it. DE Nick Perry has failed to impress me too, sense he was the #1 pick in 2012. He might well serve as a backup for a hungrier pass rusher.

FA might present an answer or even perhaps a player trade. I would not include any of GB's top round draft picks in any FA deals, they are just too valuable.

More Ted hate.

Randall is an INT machine. He's just not on the team. Rollins was hurt, repeatedly. Both were also playing out of position.

Ty Montgomery, again: still in the league.

Jake Ryan INJURED. Lost what speed he had with that knee. Is he still on IR?

Hundley: Still better than Seneca Wallace and a lot of these guys. He was a 5th rounder. Fact is, Van Pelt wanted to leave, Mike wouldn't let him, so he wasn't doing his job. As a result, Hundley wasn't ready when disaster struck. He looked very good as a rookie.

Still we got years of play out of all these guys. And btw, we got Kizer for Randall. Say what you want, but that's legit value.

I guess old Ted had an off year in 2015, 2016 looks to be one of his best from top to bottom!

Day One
Round 1, pick 27 (#27 overall): Kenny Clark, defensive tackle, UCLA

Day Two
Round 2, pick 17 (#48): Jason Spriggs, offensive tackle, Indiana

Round 3, pick 25 (#88): Kyler Fackrell, outside linebacker, Utah State

Round 4, pick 36 (#131): Blake Martinez, inside linebacker, Stanford

Round 4, pick 21 (#137): Dean Lowry, defensive end, Northwestern

Round 5, pick 26 (#163): Trevor Davis, wide receiver, California

Round 6, pick 25 (#200): Kyle Murphy, offensive tackle, Stanford
I was addicted to The Hokey Pokey, but I turned myself around!

No Packers from 2015 draft class under contract for 2019

I feel like this is a very poor clickbait title, because with the exception of the 1st round picks all rookie draft picks contracts are 4 years long ...

So every single year, every single team, doesn't have players under future contract unless they accepted the 1st round picks options.

So in 2021, this will still be true because the Packers had no 1st round pick in 2017 draft, no matter how the draft turns out, though it's been questionable so far...

But to the bigger point... Yeah the 2015 draft was bad for the Packers... and it's too bad we couldn't keep Randall and move him to FS, where it sounds like he is doing better, but sounded like he wore out his welcome.

bboystyle (13h) : The Green Bay Packers on Monday signed Taylor Elgersma, the Canadian-born quarterback who tried out at the team’s rookie camp last weekend
beast (14h) : There were reports four days ago that the Packers were signing QB Taylor Elgersma, but no official action since
Zero2Cool (16h) : And for Ian Rapoport to announce Saints send 1st and 2nd rounder to Packers for Malik Willis.
dfosterf (16h) : *Elgersma*
dfosterf (16h) : Today would be a good day to discover the Pack signed Taylor Engersma, the Canadian QB
Zero2Cool (11-May) : It wasn't. He simply wanted his money back. They refused. Cops came. They gave him his money in end.
dfosterf (11-May) : Fortunately it doesn't sound like a big deal
Zero2Cool (10-May) : Elgton Jenkins Involved In Strip Club Dispute ... Cops Called To Mitigate
Zero2Cool (10-May) : Derek Carr retires. Shoulder must be bad.

wpr (8-May) : HAHAHA Mucky Comment of the day.
Mucky Tundra (8-May) : According to reports, Mel Kiper is furious that Sanders wasn't selected as the new Pope
Zero2Cool (8-May) : Time taken to get picked:
Zero2Cool (8-May) : New Pope: 2 days | Shedeur Sanders: 3 days
Zero2Cool (8-May) : Collin Whitchurch @cowhitchurch · 1h Chicago got a pope before it got a QB to throw for 4,000 yards in a season.
Mucky Tundra (8-May) : New Pope from Chicago; in other words, the city produced a Pope before a 4000 yard passer
beast (7-May) : My first name starts with R and my beer belly is quite voluptuous! Thank you for noticing 😏
Zero2Cool (7-May) : beast, you're just one R from being voluptuous.
Zero2Cool (7-May) : And now some Packers blogger is like Doubs to Steelers makes sense!!!!
Zero2Cool (7-May) : You saw me Tweet???
beast (7-May) : Supposedly Steelers will be trading WR George Pickens to the Cowboys for a 3rd and late round pick swap
Zero2Cool (5-May) : Ravens release Justin Tucker, err D. Watson Jr?
Zero2Cool (5-May) : Cardinals have signed TE Josiah Deguara.
Zero2Cool (5-May) : If I were to "Google" it, then I wouldn't read it in your words.
Martha Careful (5-May) : Yes, in the military S2’s work on IPB, PERCEC, PHYSEC and IO
dfosterf (4-May) : FYI civilian companies swipe the S2 designation from the military. S2 is the intelligence branch up to brigade level. G2 is division level.
dfosterf (4-May) : Google it. Make sure to tack NFL on it or you will get the military meaning
Zero2Cool (4-May) : S2?
beast (4-May) : Seems like the S2 has a love/hate relationship with professional scouts.
beast (4-May) : In theory, the S2 test how quickly a QBs brain can solve game like issues and how quickly they can do it.
dfosterf (4-May) : Are you gentlemen and at least one lady familiar with the S2 cognition
Zero2Cool (4-May) : Maybe there isn't an issue.
beast (4-May) : NFL really needs to fix their position labeling issue, but I don't think they care
Zero2Cool (1-May) : Packers did not activate the fifth-year options for linebacker Quay Walker, with the goal of signing him to a contract extension.
Zero2Cool (1-May) : Matthew Golden spoke with Randall Cobb before draft. Looked like chance encounter.
packerfanoutwest (1-May) : from a head left turn?
packerfanoutwest (1-May) : someone drunk?
Zero2Cool (1-May) : Unlikely.
dfosterf (30-Apr) : How long until Jeff Sperbeck's family sues John Elway ?
Zero2Cool (30-Apr) : Packers are exercising the fifth-year option on DT Devonte Wyatt, locking in a guaranteed $12.9M for the 2026 season.
