I still think Indy improved because they used two of the first 37 overall draft picks to get good OL and their scheme changed from a stupid high risk down field offense (stupid because their OL was horrible and that high risk scheme puts max pressure on them) to a smarter, shorter and more physical scheme that mixes it up, more than than the OL coach... especially with getting LG Quenton Nelson, which some claimed before the draft was the best OL in the draft for decades.
His first NFL job was 4 years, the second one was 3 years... in the 7 years that followed... lots of one and done years... I think that's a sign... and not a good one... that he's not wanted by the person in charge... and usually if you're good at your job, people want you to stay around a little while.
Example: Todd Haley is known for being an extremely annoying control freak that's good but gets on everyone last freaking nerve... but he still usually stays put for multiple years...
