Hope Siragusa works out, it would be nice to find a young OL that we can add to our system. Surprised we didn't reach out to Jahri Evans. He started sucking at the end of the year as he was breaking down, but if we only have 3 regular season games left he should have enough in the tank to provide decent protection and he knows our system.

Comparing Bell and McCray isn't really the point. Neither would start for any other team in the league. I would bet they both are great guys, but they don't seem to have the talent to give us what is needed.

Though I'm not as high on Nico Siragusa as some are, just because I've seen some of the best college power blockers become bust in the NFL, so I don't fully trust OL who's only big strength is their power college blocking as they can at times suck in zone block and pass blocking, which needs more athletic guys. But Nico Siragusa was a very good power blocker in college and if you can work with him, maybe his zone and pass blocking can be good enough to stick around and grow more. The price was right.
