I have clung onto false hope for several weeks now.
I'm sticking a fork in em.
They are done.
Sweep the Bears!!!!
(Thats all i could hope for in the 1970's and 80's)

LOL @ the 70's & 80's remark...i also remember those days. i said it at the beginning of the season & i'll say it again...we are rebuilding. i'm very happy with rodgers & how he handles himself both on & off the field.

nobody - not ONE of us could have predicted ANYTHING that has happened this season or in any other season. blame it on anything you want - we're a 5-7 team...period! i'm not happy about it but i also wasn't expecting to win the division or even be close to making the playoffs. those of you who have been spoiled beyond belief over the past couple decades, i get your anger & impatience BUT like cheesey said - the lean years are what made me a fan of this team!

Your right on that i predicted 4-12 so they have beat my expectations lol
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

We need someone that can put some pressure on a QB.
EVERY QB we have faced has had all day to pick us apart.

There still a chance to win division. We have 4 games left we're down 2 game in our division.

We win 4 next games (1 of them against bears)

Bears still have some tough games left.

Bears need to beat the vikings and vikings need to lose one more game and we get division.

It's a long shot but not impossible, I've seen it happen before why not again?

If they do make the playoffs what on earth are you going to do Krazy?

You will not have the coaches and T.T. to bitch about any more.

"krazygangsta" wrote:

First of all I have never bitched at T.T. cause i love what Ted Thompson has done up to now except probably for the foster move. You can check all my posts and i can guarantee you that i like T.T.

Either then that if you have realised I had never a problem with MM up to now and the reason is that I feel like this team is never ready to play when they come in to the games until 2nd quarter. We're not well prepared.

The defensive coord. I was never to much of a fan and now that we're doing bad yes I do put the blame on him. Why? because we have the talent to be top 10 defense and we're not. Don't tell me theres alot of injuries, who's injured couple of d-linemen (jenkins) and barnett? Either then that no one that important.

Don't tell me it's not the coach's fault that they didn't tackle or missed a tackle etc ... If it's not their fault then why even hire coaches? ...

This team is talented if def coord. is good, injuries or no injuries this team shouldn't put up 36 or 52 pts to win games

Packers have to win out.

Sorry but the season really ended when Crosby failed to make the winning FG against the vikings.

The Packers lost 4 of 5 games in November.

You can see defeat in the way they carry themselves and the lack of veteran leadership.

Is the post Favre era all that different from the pre Favre era?

How hard does reality have to slap you??

Yes. He's good.
But because we have NO ONE ELSE that can do it, teams double team Kamp, and we STILL get no pressure on the QB. Kamp gets a rare pressure, but thats not nearly enough to slow down even so-so QB's. Just look at what has happened this year, and i have all the proof of that i need to show you.

Brett Favre wouldn't have made a difference here this year. Too many injuries, and players not playing up to potential.
Fact is, we would have had this rebuilding phase sooner or later anyway, so better to get it started now.

There is no way we are going to win the last 4 games.
Texans= Win
AT Jags= Loss
AT Bears=Loss
Lions=win

Honestly, it wouldn't suprise me if we lost to the lions. I'm not saying that as a result of what happened in the game this week...I've been saying it all year. I could see the lions coming in 0 and 15 and beating us! Think its crazy talk? We almost lost to the Lions in week 2. We lucked out with some big plays. Otherwise we looked awful against them.

I think it's POSSIBLE we could win out, but not probable. As good as we play in some games, we play just as bad in others. No consistancy.

dfosterf (18-Aug) : We do have good depth at running back imo. Still so frustrating. Bitching about it is a futile excercise, which I plan to do anyway.

dfosterf (13-Aug) : a lower back injury
dfosterf (13-Aug) : Doubs says he's "fine" after injury scare. Some reported it as z
Mucky Tundra (13-Aug) : With LVN that is; need to see what happens in the next practice
Mucky Tundra (13-Aug) : beast, reading about what happened, it sounded like one of those "two guys collide and are moving slow afterwards" type of deals
beast (12-Aug) : I believe Musgrave has been injured every single season since at least a Sophomore in highschool
packerfanoutwest (12-Aug) : Matt LaFleur: “Highly unlikely” Jordan Love plays more this preseason
dfosterf (12-Aug) : Doubs, Savion Williams, LVN, Musgrave all banged up to one degree or another, missing one here I forget

Mucky Tundra (10-Aug) : With buckeye and the reasonable couple, we're currently sitting at 10
buckeyepackfan (10-Aug) : Just posted to re-up on our FFL.
Zero2Cool (10-Aug) : If healthy after, then thats all I care. Well, no drops would be nice
wpr (10-Aug) : I made it through the 1st Q.
dfosterf (10-Aug) : Just gotta figure out how.
dfosterf (10-Aug) : Could have been a worse start, so there is that.
beast (10-Aug) : Yeah, someone tell the Packers football season has started, seems like they weren't ready for it
Mucky Tundra (10-Aug) : Sooooooo many penalties
Mucky Tundra (10-Aug) : It may only be preseason, but this game is a trip to the dentist
Zero2Cool (10-Aug) : Packers do bad -- FREAK OUT!!!!!!
Zero2Cool (10-Aug) : Packers do good -- eh only preseason
dfosterf (10-Aug) : Well that half was fun

Mucky Tundra (9-Aug) : THE GREEN BAY PACKERS ARE PLAYING FOOTBALL TONIGHT!!!!!! THIS IS NOT A DRILL!!!!
Zero2Cool (9-Aug) : Woo-hoo
TheKanataThrilla (9-Aug) : NFL Network is broadcasting the game tonight, but not in Canada. Not sure why as no local television is showing the game.
beast (8-Aug) : But the Return from IR designations had to be applied by the 53 man cutdown.
beast (8-Aug) : It's a new rule, so it's not clear, but my understanding was that they could be IR'd at any time
Mucky Tundra (8-Aug) : *had to be IRed at 53
Mucky Tundra (8-Aug) : beast, I thought the designate return from IR players had to be IR at cutdowns to 53, not before
beast (8-Aug) : It's a brand new rule, either last season or this season, prior, all pre-season IRs were done for the season
beast (8-Aug) : But the Packers would have to use one for their return from IR spots on him, when they cut down to 53.
beast (8-Aug) : I think the NFL recently changed the IR rules, so maybe the season might not be over for OL Glover.
Zero2Cool (8-Aug) : Packers star Howton, first NFLPA prez, dies at 95 😔
dfosterf (8-Aug) : Apparently it is too complicated for several to follow your simple instructions, but I digress
