To think that Brees would have those same numbers with our receivers, our OL, and our coach...that’s just not realistic.

I honestly just can’t wait until this season is over & I hope that we fire MM. I think a new coach & new mentality in the locker room would make all of the difference.

Although, I think we should keep Pettine but it probably wouldn’t happen. If we ditch Pettine, I’d like to see a 4-3 defense back in GB.

He has done nothing but praise Davante & Aaron Jones. Has never thrown either of them under the bus. So I don’t know where you’re getting these ideas from.

And you said that he needs to take the check down immediately on your first post. No, he doesn’t. I don’t want a QB who throws the check down every fucking play.

Hopefully some of your previous options would be open so you never get to the check down. However, when you get to your check down that presumably means none of you other options were open so ignoring it and going back to one of your previous options is foolish.

As Zero says, take what they give you and if all they give you is the last option who cares. A five yard gain is better than an incomplete pass.

What I found funny is that the leader of our offense doesn't even know who is on the field with him. Maybe it happens more than you would think with all the substitutions and all but i can't help but wonder if he throws that ball if he knows its Tonyan instead of Graham?

Let him go to Cleveland and win a super bowl there. That would tell us he is more than just a one trick pony riding on the arm of his qb.

Taking what the D gives doesnt make u a better passer. Better at reading a defense, sure. Rodgers, unlike brady and brees, plays behind a line where the "pocket" looks like a bunch of scrambles headless chickens running around.

I’m not worried that Rodgers will throw his WRs under the bus.......he’ll probably short hop it anyway.

These comparisons are somewhat irrelevant.
1. Brees and Brady both play in offenses that are less iterative them the Packers, so it’s easier for them to make reads.
2. If you give Rodgers is the same offensive line and protection that the other guys have, you would see dramatically different results
3. If you put either of those quarterbacks on the Packers, they would be in body bags by the fourth game of the year.
Not withstanding any of the foregoing, 12 needs to play better and make better choices.
Now, to those of us who would like to see more up-tempo, the reason it doesn’t happen is because of the Packer offense is more iterative. Rodgers and the younger wideouts are not on the same page even from the huddle. Accordingly they’re less likely to be on the same page and a two minute/up-tempo offense.
Other teams can play first and second-year players rather seamlessly, and we can’t seem to do that, which is extremely frustrating.

Mucky Tundra (10-Feb) : Obviously he was a huge risk but getting a top 5 talent on the dline in the mid 20s is fortuitous
Mucky Tundra (10-Feb) : Jalen Carter falling into their lap certainly helps
TheKanataThrilla (10-Feb) : And we could only wish to have this type of D
TheKanataThrilla (10-Feb) : It's not like Philly has had low draft picks, but has managed to get themselves a top notch pass rush. We spend so much draft capital of D
packerfanoutwest (10-Feb) : another crap halftime show
TheKanataThrilla (10-Feb) : I think it is over, but then I think of Atlanta and want Philly to go in with the same intensity in the second half
