Jackson's contract is $$11 cap hit in 2018 and $10 cap hit in 2019.

Packers have just over $3 million in cap space for 2018 and almost $40 million for 2019.

Cobb and Allison are both gone next year. Same with clay and more than likely Dix. If there wasn't enough turnover this year, next year will be another completely different team. Cute has his work cut out for him. Lots of holes to fill without any money to work with. I really see us keeping maybe only 2 guys from that top list.

If you could get him for a 5th (which I strongly doubt) then I still say pull the trigger...

Because if you need/want to... you could also open up some cap space next year by cutting someone this offseason by cutting

Jackson ($10 million)
Daniels ($8.5 million)
Bakhtiari ($7.8 million)
Bulaga ($6.75 million)
Graham ($5.33 million)

Of course, really only the top two seem like reasonable options (if Daniels doesn't pick it back up).

If they landed DeSean Jackson, they could also redo his contract and free up cap space to so his salary isn't locked in.

Trade even up for Cobb. Same money and Jackson brings much more to the Plate.

I assume it will be Original round tender, or if they feel comfortable with the young WRs, maybe no tender.

First-round tenders are valued at $4.149 million in 2018.
Second-round tenders are $2.914 million.
Original-round and low-level tenders are $1.907 million.

Trade even up for Cobb. Same money and Jackson brings much more to the Plate.
