Brice has been killing us since the beginning of the year. From what I was noticing from Brice earlier in the season was that he was always going for the BIG HIT as opposed to playing the ball to which on several occasions had he played the ball he would of probably come out with some INT's or at least not have Thielien catch that ball late in the 4th quarter. The last couple of games tho he looks totally lost not sure why his still on the field. At this point we might as well move Tramon to safety & rely on the rookies I feel like the outcome would be better.

CM3 needs to restructure his contract if not goodbye totally wasted money.

Replace Brice with Burnett and our D wouldn't have looked so bad. Brice is the worst piece in a herd of not very good pieces. We're too close to the cap to do shi t about it, unless Josh Jones is the guy.

ya Brice looked good a few weeks ago but he is either causing some issues or not getting it done. Seen him really mess up some plays. Everyone screaming to dumb haha but Id rather we get rid of Brice.

Breeland is finally healthy. Has he ever played safety? Pit him in instead of this idiot Brice. It would get all of our best guys on the field at once.

Seriously, does anybody know why Josh Jones isn’t playing instead of Brice? He can’t be any worse, and when he played, he seem to show a fair degree of promise.

Even if he primarily shadowed Gurley out of the backfield, he could be very useful in a match up against speed receivers like the Rams. From what I have seen, our lb’s don’t stand a chance in coverage matchup

Is Josh Jones just so bad in practice that he doesn't deserve a shot? Maybe if Jaire is getting healthy over the break we can think about moving Tramon to Safety part time?

Thoughts?

Though I still wonder if it might of been better to switch Jones to coverage ILB, because he's got all the physical skills and I don't think it'd take him as long to learn... plus mentally the Safety positions is supposively the hardest position to learn, as they're basically trying to play chess with the entire defensive system and adjusting based on what the offense does.

Eric Reid, someone I thought was a good free safety has only received 48 and 57 grades in two games with Panthers. Granted, profootballfocus isn't the tell all indicator, but they grade everyone the same way and Reid is low.

Perhaps I am too old school, but it doesn’t seem to me that it should be that hard to play either/both safety position(s).

I mean, are these guys pigeonholed that tightly… seriously?
