The offense did get going today -- they amassed 540 total yards to the Lions' comparatively paltry 277. Unfortunately, they just couldn't capitalize on their success, repeatedly making egregious mistakes at the worst possible times. Aaron Rodgers arguably made the most mistakes of all with his repeated refusal to take what the defense offered him. I would be curious to know when was the last time a team lost after doubling up their opponent in yardage. In any case, with three missed field goals and a missed extra point, Crosby accomplished a feat that hadn't been equaled since 1980. It's hard to come back from that. And that taunting penalty was absolutely backbreaking.
