The article title is correct. Gilbert is in fact "real" (as "real" as any of us are, which is highly debatable, but that's a story for another thread). He's just not "real good." Hopefully he will prove to at least be serviceable depth though, which is something the Packers have lacked for years. I'm still a little skeptical that Gilbert will make any impact, but we'll see.

I still predict Biegel will be better than Gilbert.

As for Fackrell, dude is the AJ Hawk of OLBs. He doesn't suck, he's just not that good. Needs to get mean.

Datone was another converted lineman. Run stuffer, like Perry.

Gilbert has kept looking good. Hopefully he will do that in the regular season.
Biegel.....I expected more from him. He just hasn’t lived up to what I thought he would be.
He needs to step it up or he will be another Wisconsin player to under achieve on the Packers.

dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.
