I was surprised they let Bridgewater go. Of course I don’t know how his injury healed. I really thought he was their QB of the future.
I still don’t get the hype over Cousins.
Really, what did he do with the Redskins that gave him this huge contract.
The Vikings must have seen something I didn’t see.

We're all kind of forgetting about Dalvin Cook, but I can assure you that our coaching staff hasn't.

On the other hand it is less likely they will have a drop off. In other words Cousins is more likely to produce the same stats they had last year than had Keenum would have had in replicating them. For that reason I wish they would have kept Keenum. Also I think Cousins may have a better chance at making Diggs and Theilen improve.

Still, it's not the QB position that worries me about the vikings. It is their defense #1 and the potential impact that Dalvin Cook could have if he comes back strong. People say its a passing game and the running game doesn't matter but the quality of your QB has a lot to do with that. An elite QB certainly can make a running game less important but if your QB is not elite a strong running game can help him immensely. I think the cowboys are in the same boat as the vikings. and average or maybe slightly above average QB is helped greatly by a much better than average running back.

Oh whoops, I meant the fanbase as a whole. He's been an afterthought due to the defense and what they achieved last year, as well as the fact that he had the type of injury he did.

I still think that the Packers, if Rodgers is healthy, are the top team in the NFC North.
Of course I am a “homer”!

Fear their defense. That's what put Aaron out of commission last year. Hope that our new makeup on offense allows us to attack it better.

I think Cousins is an upgrade though, consistency here is key... personally, and this is difficult, the Vikings are the better team on paper. Not in every position, especially QB, but overall, a better team.

QB - GB (Not Close)
RB - Draw
WR - Slight GB
OL - MN
DL - GB
LB - MN (Not Close)
CB - MN (Not Close)
S - MN

I'll say Stefon Diggs and Davante Adams are equal, but Adam Thien (spelled wrong) is far better than our WR2 so I think edge to Vikings there.

OL - GB has the edge.
LB - Definitely Vikings.
CB - I'm gonna drink the Koolaid and say Packers SLIGHTLY
S - ... I love Harrison Smith ... Vikings got this position

Coaching - Packers
Special Teams - Packers
Not Douche Team - Packers

I included Jimmy in the WR group, as he is more WR than TE, don't care where he lines up.. he shies away from blocking and I happen to think we are going to put him in space often and force the defense to make adjustments and decisions... we should dictate using this. Hence my thoughts there.

On CB... It isn't even close IMO ... Xavier Rhodes is elite. Couple in Waynes, Hughes and Alexander, it truly isn't a contest. Rhodes is the lynch pin, Sanders type player. I like the Packers roster at CB, but it is young and developing... My opinion, Rhodes and Smith make that defense go... we don't have that type of player on the back end of this defense. At least at this point of their careers. And I really like our rookie corners.
