I hope that is the way it goes! I think Graham with Rodgers, is going to open up a lot of possibilities.
Will open up more for Adams and the other WRs.

I thought the Saints were also trying to bring him back but we signed him? Did I not read that somewhere?

But, the Jaws of: these team's execs; each scout in the scouting world and each agent in the agent world; simultaneously smashed into the ground when Graham was signed out-of-the-gate.

See these teams were working more immediate needs and KNEW Graham would be around in 3-4 weeks when near min deals with incentives could be presented.

GB's GM lost a ton of street cred with this Graham move and the confidence is LOW on the street for GB's prospects. This is the reason GB couldn't get Robinson or any of the 20+ CBs we sought to overpay. Robinson said his football option were brighter in Chicago! The agent for Breaux knows he can just wait out the chump GM at GB and might get $5M.

Streetcred? Already? Bizarre... I just don't get why this is such a big deal. He's a good player at a position of need.

You know what a TE does, how can you not see that Graham's a HORRIBLE TE? I'd expect you find him to be an average WR, but he also makes alot of mistakes, many HUGE, like penalties, drops, turnovers, wrong routes, etc. No team doubles, brackets or shades him in coverage; so you're opinion of Graham contradicts the thinking of the 13 Defensive coordinators he played against in '17. Look at some tape of Olsen or Gronkowski or Gates or even Finley and see how DC's set their D against a "good player" at TE.

Moreover, he has the temperament that could cause him to shut-down like some think Bennett did last year. But if Bennett's head is right he'll run thru a brick wall for the team [like playing with a torn labrum and cuff]. This team-first thing is not in Graham's character.

Graham will not help this offense anymore than Richard Rodgers [Because Rodgers blocks better and don't make as many mistakes and hardy any HUGE mistakes] . So $13M, $22M, $30M in 1, 2 or3 years respectively that could go to the D has been pissed away. And since this was his first test in the belly of the shark, his colossal failure has hurt his rep in a way that the Wilkerson, Tramon an Kizer deals cannot overcome.

The min deal offer to Jordy is also not playing well either. The agents, execs and scouts knew Jordy's value and if GB dumped Jordy's salary to let a cheap youngster play, that's business. But that undervalued offer shows that the GM is either clueless and/or just a fool who doesn't have a plan, he's just video game fan flailing away on caffeine and emotion.

Answer: What is on the minds of scouts, execs and/or agents often takes time to leak out. Any reporter that gets a bit of inside info or insight about a deal, even if several weeks old, will prompt a call to Jordy for his comments and the story will run.

If the professional "street" is not murmuring about a player deal, it leaves the news cycle to die within 48 hrs.

EDIT: Just saw the GB GM is now explaining his thinking on the Fuller deal...WHY is he doing this? Answer: he hear's the street rumbling that he's a somewhere between overmatched, confused or a complete dumbass. His numerous statements that he's his own man show a guy with a clear esteem issue so he feels he needs to justify what he's doing, because in his own mind he's questioning himself. A GM needs quiet confidence and this guy better get a grip or we'll be seeing the quickest GM change in history.
