Why would KC want to trade a starting CB, who was a 1st round draft pick, for an older player that many people (especially Packer fans) feel is both overpaid and under performing?

Also players like to be traded to teams that are considered contenders.

Cobb is 2 years older than Peters. I did include a pick in the trade. Also looking at KC other than Kelce and Hill they do not have much of a passing game with Kareem Hunt having their 3rd most receptions. I do believe Cobb is overpaid, but whether we can eat some of his salary in the trade is also possible.

Rams are taking him from the Chiefs via trade. This means the Rams could be offloading one of their other CBs.

Forget about it, the Rams grabbed Peters (CB) from KC.

GB could have truly used him.

I wonder if Guit made a play for him, or if we have another "Uncle Ted" on our hands.

It depends on how often it happens, and if he proves it wrong by moves he makes.
You can't blame people for being "gun shy", after the last several years of no real FA moves, other then "Bargain basement" moves Ted made.

Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Still HC positions available out there. I wonder if Hafley pops up for one

dfosterf (22-Jan) : Jeff Hafley would have been a better choice, fortunately they don't know that. Someone will figure that out next off season
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Aaron Glenn Planning To Take Jets HC Job

Martha Careful (22-Jan) : just kidding...it was down
Martha Careful (22-Jan) : you were blocked yesterday, due to a a recalcitrant demeanor yesterday in the penalty box for a recalcitrant demeanor
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Was that site shutdown on your end or mine? No big deal, just curious
beast (21-Jan) : That way teams like Indiana and SMU don't make the conference championships by simply avoiding all the other good teams in their own confere
beast (21-Jan) : Also, with these "Super Conferences" instead of a single conference champion, have 4 teams make a Conference playoffs.
