Was a little concerned when I saw The Panthers had the #5 total Defense.
A closer look shows The Panthers give up 20.2 points per game, The Packers 23.2.
Never have understood why POINTS are not used to determine rank.
Points are what are used to determine who wins!

Anyways, the Panthers are one of the best run stopping teams in the NFL, which allows them on focusing on attacking the passing game, but if the QB can get enough time and WRs are on the same page, then the Panthers have some holes in their DB game.
Bears beat the Panthers by stopping the run, forcing Newton to threw and getting some turnovers that way... of course that's always easier said than done against a good power running team, especially when they have a big physical running QB... and now that they have Greg Olsen back.
Of course, the Vikings just lost to them because they could't stop the run and turned the ball over.
