The Green Bay Packers escaped the Factory of Sadness with a win, but their defense absorbed another blow when starting cornerback Davon House departed with a back injury. According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, House suffered a transverse process fracture and could miss multiple weeks as a result.

While a transverse process fracture sounds debilitating, it generally keeps players out only a week or two. That timeframe would allow House to return before the end of the regular season.

Good news, House might be back before the season is over, and Panthers are 28th in passing yards (but 5th in running yards), and their 2nd and 3rd best receivers are a RB (Christian McCaffrey) and TE (Ed Dickson). Their 4th best receiver (and 2nd best WR) has just over 200 yards on the season.

So game plan is probably going to be fairly simple, Randall on their best WR, Burnett on their TE, Martinez and/or Jones to follow McCaffrey, Haha deep and 7 others getting getting after the people in the backfield.

The running defense is going to be extra important in this one, come on Clark and Daniels... and hopefully get a healthy Perry back.

I don't see how GB can go man to man any longer. Their 5th-7th CBs are no match for anyone.

And I hate zone because everyone bails on coverage too soon and expects someone else to be there to pick them up.

Pipkin & Donatello !

Time for them to grow up and shine!

Zero is right, a little more pressure up front would help out a lot!

But to your point, agreed its a good week for House to be out.

They were playing alot of man under/2 deep v. Clev. But wont be able to do that against Carolina if Olsen is healthy.

Whitehead has looked sick on a few plays [EG He lost TE in TB for TD]; but most plays has been pretty good, especially covering the slot WR.

Hawkins can play outside and Pipkins can play slot; so were fine. We just need the same damn 5 to 6 guys practicing together during the week and playing in the game.
