Just to be clear, I agree with all of that... with just one limit of keeping it under a certain amount of money. I would prefer under/around $11.5 million per season (which the 9th highest paid WR (Doug Baldwin, who has some similar yardage numbers) just happens to have)... so he could potentially still be among the top 10 highest paid WRs (at least if he signs now).
Around the $11.5 million per year, would be over other 2017 contracts of DeSean Jackson, Larry Fitzgerald, Pierre Garcon, though under 2017 contracts of Antonio Brown, DeAndre Hopkins and Alshon Jeffery. Seems like a perfect spot to me. And like I said, Doug Baldwin seems to have similar yardage numbers and it's a recent (2016) contract.
