Hi, everyone, I'm a newcomer of this AMAZING website and I'm from Taiwan....which is not China, thanks. (No offense, just to clarify. since we don't have poison food, or toys.)

I'm a 2nd-year graduate student at UW-Madison. (I know, I know, we sucked this season....) I've never watched a single football game before I came to United States. But I immediately fell in love with it since the packers game on Jan. 12, 2008. That was unbelievable! (and viva Favre today!)

Anyway, I'm going to graduate next May. So when I figured out that this could be my last football season while I'm still here, I went to a packers game on October, 19. It was like a dreams-come-true experience just going into the Frozen Tundra. And going to the Hall of Fame makes me understand the team and it's history more.

Today, Nov 24th, is actually my birthday. And I hope that I can celebrate it with a winning game tonight.... :thumbleft:

I may leave Wisconsin in the future but I'll keep watching Packers' every single game for sure! (And of course, visiting this website as much as I can..... )

nana

ps. Hope that everything goes well for the gathering on week13. I'm sad that I can't go since it's getting towards to the end of the semester....:(

Welcome to the board.. and while the Badgers were disappointing this season, it really was to be expected. We are lacking on the defensive line to greatly to compete with the big boys right now. Couple that with very disappointing QB play from the 5th year senior for a majority of the season.. it wasn't as bad as it could be. Cal Poly has a pretty decent program for their size..

Anyway.. sorry.. Welcome again and you need to make the trip to Lambeau for a game before you leave..

Hi, Pack93z, I've been to Lambeau Field on Oct 19. Right now I plan to go to the game in Chicago on Dec 22nd after this semester ends.

So.....I have some questions.....Has anyone here been to Soldier Field before? Are there any thing that a packers fan should avoid? (I guess they might not be as friendly as Packers fans....)

And....Thanks, dfosterf, I'm glad that there are people know this beautiful little island....

Still in denial,

Soldier Field Attendance 101:
(The Syllabus)

1. Pronunciation of the letter "S", substituting the letter "C".
2. Arrival at the frontal lobotomy weigh station in Beloit; what not to say.
3. Wearing of Green and Gold in Chicago; how to get beer and blood stains out of jerseys.
4. Memorizing Carl Sandberg poems, in the unlikely event of a confrontation with someone with an IQ above plant-life.
5. The many nuances of the word, "Da".
6. The schematic of Soldier Field; Potential escape routes after reminding your fellow attendees that "The Bearce Still Suck!".

Now I feel like a bonehead, maybe read the entire message first eh.... as far as Soldier's field... Haven't been to the new one yet.. the old one was marginal as a stadium but I always had a blast..

You will run into the typical idiot fan if you wear the green and gold, but the trick I always use... have the Bear fan count to 10, that occupies them for a half hour at least. 😉
