GB’s not getting the bonus back!
And if you disagree at least incorporate these FACTS into your analysis; thank you in advance!
Bennett played with well published shoulder [and ankle] issues last year.
Bennett practiced and played in preseason and half the season.
A player’s medical disclosure occurs when a player asked questions by the Club’s physician about their “known mental and physical condition.” This puts the burden on 1265 to have asked the right questions in a way a player can answer. The question, “do you have a rotor cuff tear;” should be answered, “I’m no doctor.” A player may truthfully say, “my shoulder feels fine, when he has a labrum or rotor cuff tear.”
Bennett said they gave him an “x-ray” on the shoulder. We don’t know this for sure; but if GB didn’t MRI the shoulder and ankle McKenzie was NEGLIGENT.
The guy has a torn cuff and labrum.
This is an injury players play with all the time. Its also an injury players elect surgery all the time. If surgery helps, the decision to put off surgery to off seasons in contingent on one thing: the ability to manage and tolerate the pain when playing. Sunday night a guy could decide to have surgery and change his mind on Tuesday, when it felt better.
According to Bennett, the med staff said he can keep playing with his current injuries. He said he consulted outside opinions, which supported that Bennett should have surgery. This is not a contradiction, it’s all perfectly reasonable.
Suddenly 1265 is claiming the injury was hidden after all their supposed due diligence, after playing all this time. If we put race, personal opinions of Bennett and his brother [rolling eyes], Bennett’s performance in GB, his current play in NE and all those other stupid little kiddie feelings behind this path of thinking. This looks very bad for 1265. And Bennett’s opinion that McKenzie is covering his ass is 100% reasonable; even if it’s not McKenzie driving his being cut.
FACT 😂: To consider what John Kuhn or anyone else has to say about MacKenzie, lacks scholarship, it’s an ad hominem fallacy, its irrelevant and stupid, illogical, childish and all those other adjectives that comport to this idiotic way for thinking. This info only becomes relevant; if one intends to propose that MacKenzie in infallible; but even the best physicians can mess up from time to time. Right?
It is a violation of the CBA to cut an injured player. GB said they cut him because of an injury; they just add that Bennett failed to disclose it.
Of all the FACTS, whose truth cannot be confirmed; the most unbelievable statement, is GB’s non disclosure statement; it’s outrageous.
Bennett said he changed his mind about playing because he’s pissed at GB for inappropriately cutting him just for the $$$.
