Aaron's just as likely to be in favor of it as against it imo. But I'm not desperately clinging to Aaron either.

I could see The 49rs giving up Garrapolo and 2 1st rnd picks for Aaron .

I guess that would be ok.

Funny , my nephew is a huge Lion fan.
After the game last night he posted on FB:

"Woohoo Lions win! We're 4-4 and back in the race for The North title!"

I guess it's all how you look at things.

Why would they ever can Mikey? After all he IS a highly successful NFL coach.

His record
Favre 21-11
Rogers 94-47
Others 2-7

Rodgers record should be 94-45. It doesn't seem fair to tag him with 2 losses in games he went down in the first quarter. But one can say it isn't fair to stick the back up with a loss when he didn't have a chance to prepare.

The reality is Mikey is a very successful NFL coach because he has had two HoF QBs to lean on. Without them he has not shown us that he is somebody special. Well they almost beat New England one time with a back up QB. Sorry that doesn't mean diddly. Hey he has a street named after him. That must make him special.

Obviously you can't fire McCarthy without having some kind of a clue as to who would be his replacement. But that isn't my job.

McCarthy is a successful coach, I just don't think he can get this team over the top.

I had advocated swapping Mike's ... We take Tomlin, Steelers take McCarthy. I really think it would do both franchises wonders.

There was a tie against the Vikings when we were trotting out terrible backup QB's like Hundley.

Ted Thompson sits on his hands per former GM: "because they’ve had 25 fricking years of great quarterbacks. Of course it works. Try it without a special quarterback."
