This is silly. If Monty is good enough to trade (and I doubt GB can get a 4th round pick for a player w cracked ribs and less than 200 yards mid season.) he's good enough to keep. We haven't seen enough out of the other RBs to shove Monty out the door.

I don't see very well at night anymore and I'm due for an eye exam, but I just can't see trading Montgomery this year.

The trade makes complete sense for the Jaguars. But the salary might not.

Move Montgomery to Cobb's role, and cut or trade Cobb. The cap number on Cobb is ludicrous given his production. Montgomery was a bigger version of Cobb at Stanford anyway.

If you trade anyone you trade CM3 he is way over priced for the production he gives. Also I would be ok with the Cobb trade. I really wouldn't be upset if we traded Rodgers like I said at the beginning of the season

I'd only trade him if some team gave us a Desperation Deal for him, like a first round and a late round pick. Zero guarantee if you trade player for player that the player you get is going to have the same level of success as he had with his late team. We know how to use Montgomery and with AR12's ability to read defenses, he's far more of an asset with the Packers than with most other teams considering his ability to be effective in the backfield or out wide.

I'd much sooner trade Cobb TBH.
