Only thing of interested is the different reports that he left the stadium early or not.
Also would be interesting whom screwed up on the play in question... everyone is blaming Randall, but I've seen enough plays that the guy getting blamed or the one closest and running after the guy, isn't always the guy to blame, as sometimes someone else screwed up and another players attempts to make up for the other.

I just don't like the guy. He doesn't have the attitude to be great, despite his physical skills. Why deny the inevitable? Just get rid of him so other players can have his snaps. Or better yet, try to trade him for a 7th. Let him be someone else's headache.

The attitude of hating to lose or hating not being good enough can be a great thing. If you can harness it correctly and of course if you have the tools to be good enough.

Randall just hasn't always been able to harness it correctly.

That type attitude is a double edged sword... can strengthen you and help you become the best, or it can drive you crazy and rub those around you the wrong way.

He might even be worth a 6th round pick in the next draft .

CB JOSH HAWKINS, 82.3 OVERALL GRADE
After Damarious Randall got benched, Hawkins saw the majority of the snaps in the second half and held up well. He was targeted six times and allowed only three catches for 30 yards. He also had a pass breakup and two coverage stops.

Probably not as good as Datone.

Give me "solid" and I am happy. Randall has had a few , very few flashes of solid. That's what frustrates me. Give me a guy who covers his man nearly every time. (It's impossible to cover all the time every game, every down.) A guy who consistently tackles in the open field. A guy who is able to step up and help others when they mess up in coverage.

I would prefer Randall sitting on the bench instead of trading him. There is so little depth when the injuries come rolling in GB needs him. Some pick in next year's draft won't do them any good this year. Like in the olden days when MLB teams traded a player for cash. The saying was that managers hated it when the GM made the trade because you cant't play a bag of money at second base.

So all in all I expect Coach Mike to back his guy. He took him out of the game (Or more likely Whitt did), He scolded him. He had a talk with him and not welcomes him back and protects him against nay sayers.

He had a solid rookie season and has been mediocre ever since. Worried he will turn into another Hayward where it puts it together with another team.

This defense is different from last year and the year before and Randall is not doing a good job at adapting. Plus, the linebackers and safeties have shown themselves to be more reliable than Rollins or Randall so both of their responsibilities in "nickel" have practically disappeared. Maybe either of them can be used as depth due to injury, but otherwise I assume both their roles diminish and I don't expect either of them to be back next season unless one of them works a miracle.
