In what is a very taboo subject among the org and Packers media, we have a GM who is clearly suffering from some type of brain deterioration. It is very sad to see. Look, I can't stand his style and think he's been an impediment to winning rings here, but as a human being I genuinely feel bad to see him suffering.

Some of his pressers over the last several months really show him to be borderline if not incoherent at times.

This has been noted by Total Packers on more than one occasion and Zach Kruse has recently tweeted to this effect. I've been on this also and just had a twitter discourse with Bill Huber of Packer Report just a few minutes ago where even he acknowledges he's not okay and no one will talk about it. So, lets...for reference.

How do you have a guy who has clear mental decline running your franchise? It's unacceptable. This is why I think Eliot or Brian are pulling the strings behind the curtain. Someone behind it surely realizes what many of us do that Ted is in sharp decline and really needs to have his car keys taken away, so to speak, for everyone's safety. I'm guessing Ted is just a figurehead for the org at this point and will be out shortly. I'm hoping and guessing it might be a few days after the roster is finalized.

"I'm just humpty do going along" is not an answer to a question you want or expect to hear from an NFL GM. He looks dazed and confused and has given some odd rambling non answers of late. His presser at the owner's meetings was particularly alarming from 7 minutes in on... but I can no longer find this video and it was something. Where did it go? It's lengthy. He gets bizarre at 7 minutes into it. The one at Packers.com isn't up to watch and the audio version is only 3 minutes 33 seconds.

Total Packers, as noted above, has been on this:

https://www.totalpackers.com/2017/04/ted-thompson-mental-decline/

Among this crowd we have a ton of rabid Ted defenders but can I ask you honestly? Do you really think there's nothing wrong with this man? It is time for the org to move on from him as gracefully as possible.

Citing TotalPackers as a source for anything is kind of a joke, those guys are full of so much hyperbole and knee jerk reactions I think Alex Jones is jealous.

Asking what YOU think. Do you think Ted is okay? I don't and there's a lot of evidence to that effect.

You're setting up the false narrative that you either agree with me, or your a "rabid Ted defender" which is bullshit... as there is many other options.

2) Your logic seems to be that the Packers made some moves that you like, therefore it can't be Thompson running the show, it must be Eliot or Brian... horrible biased logic by you as usual.

3) His speeches to media have not been sharp, but lets be honest, he's never given two shits about them in the first place as he never has tried to impress them... so that's a piss poor way to judge a person about something they've never cared about.

I am concerned about his health as his speech patterns, in particular, appear to have slowed in recent years, but that's for him and his family to go through. If he can't perform the responsibilities of his job, then those will be delegated to those who can.

The post turns into a reply about me? All you have to do is answer the question. If the question irritates you, then attack the questioner?

Speaking to meeting with the media being 1% of the job is deflecting and ironically doing what you're accusing me of. It's horrifying if that's how he is in the limited time we actually see him. It doesn't make you wonder how bad he is the other 99 or do you just turn a blind eye and say he's only messed up in front of the media? I feel u would be one not to ever have the conversation that needs to happen with a loved one when it's clear they're declining and intervention is required for everyone's safety.

As to things people don't know...Eliot and Brian very well could be making the moves. To think Ted is suddenly 180 from normal? Lots of circumstantial evidence Ted is a figurehead now and may have been for awhile.

In any case, keep it taboo and ignore if you must. It's a conversation that needs to happen whether you want to participate or not.

Zero2Cool (4m) : Fake news. Cowboys say no
Zero2Cool (1h) : Mystery candidate in the Cowboys head coaching search believed to be Packers ST Coordinator Rich Bisaccia.
beast (15h) : Also why do both NYC teams have absolutely horrible OL for over a decade?
beast (15h) : I wonder why the Jets always hire defensive coaches to be head coach
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Still HC positions available out there. I wonder if Hafley pops up for one
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Trent Baalke is out as the Jaguars GM.
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Jeff Hafley would have been a better choice, fortunately they don't know that. Someone will figure that out next off season
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Aaron Glenn Planning To Take Jets HC Job
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Martha- C'est mon boulot! 😁
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Thank you
wpr (22-Jan) : Z, glad you are feeling better.
wpr (22-Jan) : My son and D-I-L work for UM. It's a way to pick on them.
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Thank you. I rarely get sick, and even more rarely sick to the point I can't work.
wpr (22-Jan) : Beast- back to yesterday, I CAN say OSU your have been Michigan IF the odds of making the playoffs were more urgent.
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Glad to hear you are feeling a bit better.
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : I've been near death ill last several days, finally feel less dead and site issues.
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : It is a big deal. This host is having issues. It's frustrating.
Martha Careful (22-Jan) : just kidding...it was down
Martha Careful (22-Jan) : you were blocked yesterday, due to a a recalcitrant demeanor yesterday in the penalty box for a recalcitrant demeanor
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Was that site shutdown on your end or mine? No big deal, just curious
beast (21-Jan) : That way teams like Indiana and SMU don't make the conference championships by simply avoiding all the other good teams in their own confere
beast (21-Jan) : Also, with these "Super Conferences" instead of a single conference champion, have 4 teams make a Conference playoffs.
beast (21-Jan) : Also in college football, is a bye week a good or bad thing?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : The tournament format was fine. Seeding could use some work.
beast (21-Jan) : You can't assume Ohio State would of won the Michigan game...
beast (21-Jan) : Rankings were 1) Oregon 2) Georgia 3) Texas 4) Penn State 5) Notre Dame 6) Ohio State, none of the rest mattered
wpr (21-Jan) : Texas, ND and OSU would have been fighting for the final 2 slots.
wpr (21-Jan) : Oregon and Georgia were locks. Without the luxury of extra playoff berths, Ohios St would have been more focused on Michigan game.
wpr (21-Jan) : Zero, no. If there were only 4 teams Ohio State would have been one of them. Boise St and ASU would not have been selected.
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : So that was 7 vs 8, that means in BCS they never would made it?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : A great game. Give ND credit for coming back, although I am please with the outcome.
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : FG to make it academic
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : and there's the dagger
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooo 8 point game with 4 minutes to go!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooooooohhhhhh he missed!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Ooooo that completion makes things VERY interesting
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Game not over yet
beast (21-Jan) : Oh yeah, Georgia starting quarterback season ending elbow injury
beast (21-Jan) : Sadly something happened to Georgia... they should be playing in this game against Ohio State
beast (21-Jan) : I thought Ohio State and Texas were both better than Notre Dame & Penn State
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame getting rolled
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : Ohio State just got punched in the gut. Lets see how they respond
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame vs the Luckeyes, bleh
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Oh snap!!!
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : Even Stevie Wonder can see that.
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : Nah, you see Lions OC leaving to be HC of Bears is directly related to Packers.
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ohhhhhhh Zero is in TROUBLE
packerfanoutwest (21-Jan) : Zero, per your orders, check Bearshome, not packershome
Zero2Cool (20-Jan) : Then he'll land with another team and flourish.
Zero2Cool (20-Jan) : Ben going to Bears. He'll be out in 3 years.
