Rodgers had his best season when Marshall Newhouse was playing LT for us. Think about the incredible MVP season this guy had with Newhouse playing LT. That makes his stats and his MVP that much more other worldly. I'm not sure the current Rodgers could live through that with the same kind of results or even close.

Ted Thompson sits on his hands per former GM: "because they’ve had 25 fricking years of great quarterbacks. Of course it works. Try it without a special quarterback."

So basically, hope the WRs play great and Rodgers is confident in them and himself.

Let us consider this :

In preparation for my leagues 2017 Fantasy Football Draft, I have been practicing by participating in MOCK DRAFTS . I've discovered an interesting consistency . Aaron Rodgers(QB) and Jordy Nelson(WR) are regularly picked fairly early , even TY Montgomery(RB) is regularly picked close to his 24th RB rating . WRs Cobb and Adams are generally picked as bench WR4 or WR5 . Even (TE) Martellus Bennett is usually picked as a TE2 as a rule . This says that Adams, Bennett, and Cobb do not produce the results it takes to garner the respect of knowledgeable fans from all over the nation .

IMO, Bennett will exceed all expectations this year and may make the pro-bowl . Adams and Cobb need to step up their game or risk being replaced by other WRs . Jamaal Williams and Ty Montgomery should do well at RB . ALL, YES ALL of GB's Offensive efforts will hinge upon the play of the Offensive Line .

Rodgers will need protection to throw passes, the RBs will need blocking to open holes for them to run through, and the TE/WRs need time to get open for Rodgers to hit with accurate strikes. The Offensive Line's play will determine much of GB's 2017 success . [cool]
