GB will play it's final preseason game against the LA Rams . The Coaches will have already made up their minds about the 53 man roster. At best there may be a question over which of two players to keep . As a result the focus should be on sharpening the edge on the on the #1 and #2 Offensive/Defensive squads. The focus needs to be on timing, footwork, handwork, blocking, etc. in preparation for Seattle.

The time for rookies trying to make the team has passed. The Packers need to use their final preseason game to get ready for the Seahawks. I've seen the Seahawks and they will be ready on opening day. The time has expired on those that will not be on the final 53 man roster, open the valves and turn it loose on the Rams .

There will be decisions on players after what they see that night.

No starters are likely to play so the staff can get a final look so they know who to keep at the bottom bottom of the roster.

Seattle is the one team Dom's defense actually works against. Seattle is a very different road team and they have one of the weakest OLs in the NFL.

Should be an easy win just like last time as long as we can pressure Wilson.

I wouldn't say roster spots are locked in. Sometimes players who coaches are hoping to be able to get on the practice squad can have a big game and get some exposure to other teams. That can change some of the decisions coaches have to make. Also if there is a close battle going on it's a chance for a guy to step up and pull away with it. If a bubble guy like Hawkins goes out and gets obliterated by some back up WRs it could cost him a roster spot.

Also throttling the rams back ups running generic schemes probably won't help much to prepare for the Seahawks. We don't need to risk some udfa trying to get seen by his coaches destroying Jordys knee to find out if Jordy can beat a guy who will be serving a T.G.I. Friday's next week and catch a pass downfield.

IMO, the Coaches know within 1 or 2 players just exactly who will be on the final 53 man GB roster.
Wasting valuable game plays on irrelevant players is beyond crazy . The #1's will play for the better part of the first half with basic Vanilla and Chocolate plays that will stress fundamental execution like : running plays, screens, and simple pass patterns. The #2's will do the same , with few substitutions other than those that will be 3rd string 2017 Packers.

As for Seattle, using the Rams to firm up execution and refine timing is critical. I've seen the Seahawks and they are going to be a real bitch indeed. [whip2]

We win if one single backup offensive lineman proves they can be a swing player.

No team has won a SB with just the starting 22 O and D. It is the ability of the players who come in when needed that make the difference.
The world needs ditch diggers too Danny!!!
