I don't see a first being offered for him. Maybe a third?

There’s a good chance Brett Hundley’s third season with the Green Bay Packers will be his final one.

It has been a while since the Packers developed a backup quarterback and traded him for valuable draft capital. The last time was in 2001, when they sent Matt Hasselbeck to the Seattle Seahawks for the equivalent of a high second-round draft pick.

I think it all depends on how much hype he gets... right now he has so little hype because he doesn't have much game film other than maybe his rookie preseason. But if he lights it up in preseason, then his stock could potentially soar.

Packers were rumored to possible trade him, but decided against it, because they thought they could get a lot more. So I'm under the assumption that the Packers think they could potentially get a high round comp pick (which maxes out at 3rd round) if they keep him until the end of his contract.

So I'm thinking they're looking for higher than 3rd round. Of course 3rd and a second pick is also higher.

With the NFL going a bit EXTRA QB crazy as of late... I could see a back-up QB that's showing well, getting a 1st round draft pick offer like rumors have suggested Patriots were getting for back-up QB Jimmy Garoppolo.

Of course, you first have to show well, which Hundley has not yet done.
