30 years old, hardly played in two years, more expensive than someone we could pick up in the 3rd through UDFA that would likely yield similar production.

$ better spent elsewhere IMO.

I would take him over Lacy for sure but we know how Uncle Teddy works and he will overpay for fatty Lacy which will play in maybe 3 games.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

He got cut so he wouldn't count against compensatory picks (same as Peterson). Forte got overpaid last year so I suspect someone will overpay again. I'd love to have him for a short term incentive-based deal but some other team will likely outbid us.

More than likely. There are a bunch of teams with a lot of cap space. I won't mind it if they use it up on Charles. I also won't mind it if he falls to GB and he is the #3 RB.
