Thank you for lining up and playing whatever Dom capers called rather (whether) WE liked it or not you was all in.

The above from Ha Ha's Instagram. The whole thing looks like it was written from someone who dropped out of school.

So, those two didn't care for the play calls on a somewhat regular basis? We don't either, guys.

As far as Haha saying he didn't always like the play call... no shit... what player always does like the play calls? NONE... Favre didn't always like the play calls, Rodgers doesn't always like the play calls, Richard Sherman has been on record on not always like the Seahawks play calls... no player, nor fan always like the play calls. Plus, a player and a play caller can have different goals in mind... player could only be thinking about this one play, while the play callers could be trying to set something up for the future. To make a big deal out out of a player not always like the play calls is stupid because it's true for all players and people... it's about as news worthy as a player admitting they poop too, just like everyone else... you know shit happens.

We both know that he referenced Dom. That is not in dispute. Next question is was it flattering to Dom or unflattering? Certainly wasn't flattering. So, it was unflattering, which is a shot. Oh, you can't say it was neutral. It was clear they both had issues at times with Dom's calls.

Ha ha writes very poorly which is a whole nother topic, too.

Haha is thanking Shields for putting the play calls ahead of his desire, even when they didn't like the play call, which implies that someone else or multiple someone elses wouldn't follow the play call when they didn't like it. The shot is on the action of "lining up and playing" and "you was all in", suggesting that other(s) weren't.

Not surprised that you wouldn't allow for the possibility that it is a shot and are insisting it isn't. The evidence isn't there to say for sure that it isn't. More likely it was a shot than not, but you could be right.

The entire premise of the thread is backward. It is seen only through an emotional, narrowly focused and bitterly negative biased prism.

First, the entire Instagram was just about unintelligible with respect to formal English communication; so to pull one section out of context and apply basic English principles, without applying other communicative principles at play, is folly.

Second, even if the "interpretation" is correct it serves as a tribute to Capers.

Dix played at 'Bama, he has opinions. And you can bet in the pantheons of history in all high school, pro, college or a semi pro football teams there has never been 26 players seeing 100% 24/7 eye to eye with their coordinator.

And if the "interpretation" is correct Dix is saying, "I wasn't always sure Capers was having us do the right thing; but THANK YOU for correcting and helping undo my stupid Rodgers' like attitude from wanting to play outside the scheme. You were 100% correct Sam, listening to Capers is the path to defensive salvation. Oh and thanks for showing me that Barfarn and Lovie are right, McGarigle is a rising effing rising star."

They obivously followed the orders though which I like (more than we can say for Minnesota), but if some of the better players on our D are questioning these call of Dom's, How can the higher ups not see the issue?

So ready for a new coordinator.

Huge twist saying this was a tribute to Dom? It was a tribute to Sam, not Dom, for following calls they both disagreed with. The fact that other players surely don't see eye to eye with their coordinators is a straw man. Not relevant. If it's such a common sense thing why bring it up at all if everyone is doing it? He was praising Sam not Dom.

We do agree that Dix is no scholar and certainly not a writer. Scary to me we have Burnett and Dix at S. Both are stone stupid. Shields wasn't very bright either. If we add a new DB, I hope he's not as uneducated as those 3. Can't help thinking of the poster who asked if NEs DBS were just smarter than our guys? Hard to play defense with guys too dumb to execute it? How is Burnett the guy who is the QB of our D? Can't be a good thing.

I mean guys like Warren Sapp, a complete turd and moron in everyday life could read an offense like I'd never seen from a D-linemen. He'd call out plays before the center could snap the ball. Even our one time great #4 doesn't come across as an intellectual, but in the later stages of his career he had a complete knowledge of what defenses were going to do (this of course didn't prevent him from "forcing the issue").

So I'm not worried about their football IQ per say, a guy like Janis is one who I'd be worried about from a football IQ point....

but yea some summer writing/speech class could serve these fellas well.
