You're right, Florida. I just don't know that Burnett, Dix and Shields have high football intelligence. Can't think of many or even any times I thought any of those guys made some really intelligent play.

Having flashbacks of HaHa at Seattle in the Chip. A smarter player can't have that happen.

Janis is a fun topic. He sure seems football dumb but I wonder if that's because he is really that dumb or that he just really doesn't care about football. He scored a 30 on Wonderlic so he's intelligent. Guy talks nothing but bow hunting on Twitter and have never gotten the sense he loves football. That is a Belichick must. BB said guys must love football. U get a Janis when a guy doesn't.

I've thought a lot more about this. It is possible your Interpretation is correct. The key is the use of WE. Is WE implying him and Sammy, or everyone on the D, entire team, etc.? Your last posts went down this same track. Who is WE? If WE is he and Sam, it's a clear shot at Dom. That seems most likely as he's referring to his relationship with Sam and not the team.

Not surprised that you wouldn't allow for the possibility that it is a shot and are insisting it isn't. The evidence isn't there to say for sure that it isn't. More likely it was a shot than not, but you could be right.

More likely he's suggesting that the players don't always agree with all the play calls... but I can't name a single player on any level of football that has always agreed with play calls. If you listen to peewee football players and even they at times will complain about play calls... and it only gets worse the higher up you go.

So if a player says they never disagrees with a play call, then either they played in an extremely basic scheme where there weren't many play calls or they're lying.

If there is a shot in that, it's at the players who didn't live up to level that Haha see both Shields and himself.

I appreciate your view and interpretation. What would be alleged of me had the roles been reversed is that U just never admit when someone makes a good point. Wrong. I freely admit to things I believe are good points. Just don't often find them when it comes to countering my opinion. This time was an exception and I have no problem admitting it but you just had to twist it.

Well, it looks like Beast is right on this one. Here is Ha-Ha's response to the Capers kerfuffle:

All bulls--t about Dom. It was more for my teammates (coworkers) that complain about the play calling. Instead of just playing the call. ... Dom Capers' play calling is good enough. We have to get the play executed as a defense. This a business. I'm all in with Dom, so miss me [with] that. ... [People] who don't know a lick about football, just watch the game and shut the hell up. Ain't no sneak dissin [with] me. ... I'll never throw [people] under the bus. I want everybody to get they crumbs in this game including coaches. I ride with my entire organization.

Source here  and here .

From the beginning, this really looked like people reading into something that wasn't there. I have no reason to doubt Ha-Ha's clarification on this matter.

Hard to tell if he's trying to cover for throwing Dom under the bus or if that's really the truth. Admittedly, his explanation backs up beast and his interpretation.

Man, he is dumb. Him and Burnett...Maybe, not a dumber sounding tandem in the NFL.

I think it's funny that Ha Ha is beating his chest saying he wouldn't throw anyone under the bus and this wasn't a slam on Dom. Right. Now, it's the rest of the team who didn't agree with the calls. That's better that he's claiming this is about multiple teammates but he wouldn't throw anyone under the bus. He needs to get off social media and into a hooked on phonics book.

I laughed at this tweet in response to his backtrack:

Personally I believe there is a sneaky little shot at Capers in the original post, the fact is, if Ha Ha wanted to congratulate Shields and wish him well what was the point in mentioning Capers or lining up for defense at all. The way I see it is: a) hes a complete idiot and just tried to say something witty/different but made himself look like a bigger idiot or b) there is a subliminal dis where he and Shields have both been unhappy with Capers/defensive direction.
