Oakland Raiders file paperwork to relocate to Las Vegas

The Oakland Raiders have filed their paperwork to relocate to Las Vegas, the league announced Thursday.

The team's relocation to Las Vegas must be approved by three-fourths of the NFL's team owners.

ESPN wrote:

I have to wonder how many Raider fans will continue to support them in Vegas. At 9 hours it is too far to drive down for the weekend but it is only 90 min by plane. At a quick glace tickets are as low as $82 today which isn't too bad.

Will some move of the fans on to the hated 49ers or will they take up with Seattle?

I've been to Oakland, and it's a very dangerous and depressing place. If I owned the team I'd want to move them too. Viva Las Vegas!
