I've been trying to tell you people and some of you stubbornly refuse to accept it. Maybe reading it from the coaches mouth will sway you to the RB side! Bahahah

He's pretty darn good at it, too!
A couple of times yesterday I thought he would be dropped, and he just ground for extra yards.
And the guy LOVES being a RB! That's just an extra reason to keep him there. Plus we KNOW he has good hands and can catch the ball out of the backfield.
Let's face it, Starks is a non-factor now. He can't muscle any extra yards anymore.

If Michael ends up being a stud I might go back into that camp but ultimately at this point he's better off in the backfield. I do hope they continue to move him around to mess with the defense though, I think it plays into his success.

Of course he attends the RB meetings. He is a WR who lines up in the backfield. He has to attend their meetings. 😝

He runs like a RB too. The only thing "not RB" about him is his jersey #

All joking aside - glad he came back from his injury last year. While I hadn't thought of him as a RB until lately, he does have a good handle on the position and seems to get those tough yards. It also works to our advantage as a "pass first" team that he has good hands - especially if you have seen the damage a RB can inflict when they have catching abilities.

On a side note - did aliens abduct and experiment on our coaching staff? The team has been showing up and doing anything but boring/predictable.

So let's step aside from Ty 2016 for a moment. Lacy may or may not come back next year. If he does it will be because he can't get top dollar because of injury and lack of production the past 2 years.

If Lacy does not return-

1 would you be comfortable seeing Monty get the Lacy-like 250-280 carries a season Eddie racked up in his first two years?

2. Would you want Ted to use a high draft pick (Round 2 or 3) on another RB? Walter football have more than 10 prospects that are good enough to be taken in the first 3 rounds. I would be surprised if that many are taken that high.

If eddie gets a payday from another team, Ted wont keep him. However, Ted is always for a "fair deal." Ty is still a good WR as well as rb.

That a combo a ninja would be proud of. Sometimes RB, sometimes WR. All good and deadly. Call him The Green Ninja, if you will 😁

Honestly, I want to see more out of Michael. If he looks like a top-15 back then we don't really have a problem without Lacy.
