What did you all think about Ty Summers play vs Saints? He said he was "not great".

I have to agree with Ty!
He was adequate at best from what I saw.

He was better than Kirksey. But that isn't saying much.

He has a motor. Seems one of those feast or famine type players as his over aggression could get him in trouble.

Considering he came in cold and needed to wear the headset I will give him some credit. Will be anxious to see how he will produce with a week of practice knowing he is the starter.

Another team decision that reflects poorly on Burks.

I might take Ty Summers for LB in my fantasy team. Seems Mike Pettine defense really allows the ILB to rack up tackles like crazy.

And yet according to PFF Burks was the highest rated defensive player last week.

Ty is right, he wasn't great, but I thought he bought a mental calm in there, where that was a couple of chicken's with their head cut off almost before he got in there...

And they were tasked with stopping one of the best RBs in the NFL.

1) Yes isn't that amazing

2) Though he only played 13 snaps, outta 61 and got the least amount of snaps of all the ILBers, Barnes got 17.

3) Usually they were using Redmond as the coverage LB, and he made a number of errors... Burks hasn't seemed to be able to beat out the Safeties for the coverage LB spot, and the other LBers beat him for run defense.


4) It'll be interesting to see if Burks might get an increase of playing time from this, and maybe Redmond (whom played in from of Greene) less time... we still need someone to cover McCaffrey when we face the Panthers.
