I find it interesting that no one has any sympathy for the letter writer's position.

Except me.

Again. Oh well.

I'm sure a lot of people complained when those unprofessional teams started throwing the ball as well. If you can't move the ball by running why even play.

If you mean sympathy for him personally for the razzing he is getting, again, if you are going to have an against the grain comment or an outside the box thought you had better have the cajones to stand up to the ridicule you will get for expressing them.

I don't have a lot of sympathy for people who make comments like this. I don't agree with it and I don't care if he looks like an idiot, or a genius for that matter. I'm assuming Mr. Klatt is an adult

Sympathy? No. I do understand where he is coming from and I think the pass interference penalties are more damaging to the game than tricking a player into jumping off sides. If you're only smart enough to play Checkers, get the hell away from the Chess board, lol.

Outside the box thinking is always a good thing. Never, EVER, is thinking NOT a good thing! Unless you're wiping your ass. Don't think about that, it is just ... no, don't think about it. STOP IT!!!

I combined 2 comments in 1 quote to respond to the last one. What I meant when I said sometimes out of the box not a good thing was the same as when I said not every against the grain thought is a good thought. Not every outside the box idea is a good idea but you are right, that doesn't mean we should stop doing it.

Who is hurt by ANY thought. People are hurt by actions. Are you saying we should never respond contrary to what anyone writes because no one is hurt by it. Your forum would be pretty dead if that was the case. On the other maybe Aaron Rodgers was very hurt when someone called him unprofessional and said he was ruining the game. A little childish to think so perhaps but hey, if we can't criticize outside the box thoughts how can we criticize thoughts like that.

Mr. Klatt has gotten his 15 minutes of fame and in the end, you may be right, perhaps that is all he ever wanted, to have Aaron Rodgers respond to one of his comments. We have all already committed far to much time and effort into this than it has deserved.

It's the other 60+ plays the defense can't cheat the snap count or is delayed getting off the snap even by the smallest margin that benefits the offense as much as getting 5 yards or a free play or two a game.

You think defenses don't work all week on tendencies and clues that give them a pre-snap edge BUT Arod should not take advantage of certain players or situations where he can get a call? The fact is this person is obviously ignorant of all that is happening on both sides of the ball prior to it actually being snapped.
