I have debated for a better part of a week whether to post a reference to this article, but after thought I decided there is no reason not to.
In the Winter 2009 Edition of Sports Spectrum (A Christian sports magazine) they have a article of a side of Rodgers that I haven't read before.
His strong faith and devotion.
It speaks of how he developed his leadership skills, being a middle child of two other brothers, assigned with forcing them to keep the peace and working together.
It speaks of how he has learned to deal with the temptation of the darker sides of fame, money and opportunity.
It speaks of how he dealt with living in the shadow of and the departure of a legend. How he felt free to speak openly...
But it mostly speaks of his faith, his spiritual connection with Kampman and the Chaplains of the Packers.. Troy Murphy and Joe Urcavich.
It speaks of perspective in life..
The magazine is a very cool diversion from the normal sports articles and perspectives.. however you have to have a subscription to view it upon the web.. hence no link to the article.
