I think they take Chris Jones, DT, Mississippi state.

I don't care about round 1, there's a lot of depth at DT and despite what some people say we have a glaring hole at the position I just hope Ted takes the right guy because he doesn't have a very good record with DLs.

If it's ok to say then what I would like is a trade down from the dreaded end of round 1.

He's not on the list. Teddy loves to prove how smart he is and always reaches in the first round. Except for 2005 when he had no other choice.

Players on the list I'd take at #27 and who have a chance to be available still:

    DE Shaq Lawson, Clemson
    OT Jack Conklin, Michigan State
    DE Kevin Dodd, Clemson
    DT Vernon Butler, Louisiana Tech

    In order, I'd take:
    1. Butler.
    2. Conklin.
    3. Dodd.
    4. Lawson.

So, my answer to the OP's question is "Vernon Butler, DT, La Tech."

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

I don't think Conklin or Lawson will make it to 27, but I'd be okay with all the guys you mentioned.

I feel like this draft is very kind to us, as to where we're picking.

With guys like Darron Lee, Hunter Henry, Kevin Dodd, Vernon Butler, A'Shawn Robinson and Emmanuel Ogbah all going in our range, there's surely a talented player we can use who's still on the board.

    I think: Keanu Neal
    I want: Darren Lee

Always expect the unexpected from Ted Thompson.

Mucky Tundra (28-May) : @AndyHermanNFL MLF says there was a time last year where Cooper was at 220 pounds. Now he’s at 240 and still flying around.
