Here's how I see it with Jared Cook.
He never had a GREAT QB throwing him the ball. As was seen with guys like Greg Jennings and James Jones, a great QB can really elevate a receiver's game. Take away that great QB, and a seemingly excellent receiver becomes average or worse.
Cook might just be what we need to open up the middle and give our WR's more chances.
In the past, without a decent TE, the defense could pretty much ignore that guy and concentrate more on WR coverage.
And hopefully Jordy and the other WR's will be at 100% health wise, and Eddie Lacy will come back "hungry" (I mean for yards, not food).
