I agree with this, but I wonder if Bulaga's exorbitant contract would prevent such a move.

That's quite dramatic there. His average is only 6.7m and he only got 8m guaranteed on a 5 year deal. I'd rather have Bulaga on his contract than have one of the best LT with a top LT contract.

Now, I'm not the kind of person to say we have a problem and not pose a solution. So here's my expert solution. I draft two Tackles to solve this problem. 1st round at 27, I take Taylor Decker 6'8" 310 to play left side and for right side I use my 2nd round pick at @55 to take Germain Ifedi 6'6" 324.

Bryan Bulaga would still start at Right Tackle. The new drafted guys would battle it out for Left Tackle. Then next off-season we trade Bulaga to someone for a homerun 3rd down back.

I would also draft two DL in 3rd and 4th around and the remaining picks I would take the best football players available at my slot.

That my friends is the recipe for Super Bowl 51 championship victory parade happiness. And if the Packers do not win it it all, I will come back to this scenario and point out that if they had done what I said, we would have won it all.
