Shooting way off target, Cheesey. Manipulating stats with an agenda to quell unrest.

Tom Brady has 4 rings and 6 SB trips. When Brett and Aaron eras are over, combined, we'll have two rings and 3 appearances. Oops. Forgot Bart Starr. So, 3 HOF Qbs will produce less SB appearances than Brady and same amount of rings. FAIL. Open your eyes and think clearer and bigger.

New England has done much more with one HOF QB than we've done with THREE. We have failed and you can try deflecting from that but it's truth.

The Packers biggest mistakes was overestimating the talent of Adams, thinking Richard Rodgers is a threat at tight end, and not having enough experience at wide receiver. Nelson going down had a domino effect, exposing all of this.

Defensively, we had enough to get it done; but going into the season not filling the ILB position with a quality start and replacing Williams and House with rookies was a pretty big gamble. The rookie corners played well.

His first 2 years: 156 targets; 89 catches 989 yards and 4 TD. That's 34% more targets; but only 15% more catches and 34% more yards and SIX LESS TDs! In first 2 years Rodgers is more productive than any Packer TE in history AND Tony Gonzalez. Expectations need to be brought to reality.

What about last years' lil' darling Schneider. Before camp bodies were signed to futures contracts Seattle only had 4 OLman under contract: Britt [ranked 2nd worst left guard by PFF]; Gilliam [surely one of the 3-4 worst RTs] and guards Glowinski and Soklia that have not played a game and were 4th and 6th rounders. And they got alot less 2016 coin than TT.

You need to stop comparing the Packers to some wet dream ideal. "Weakness" is relative, not absolute. GB's 4 ILBs are not a strength; but show me a team that doesn't have a worse weakness somewhere on their roster! And most of those have less money to spend.

I see Barfarn is going with the AJ Hawk defense in favor of Richard Rodgers. My objection allowed not overruled.

You tell us all the time we have to watch the games and not just post stats. Irony. We have. He stinks. You broke more tackles than he did.

Twenty semi-random reflections:

1. WR: I'm looking forward to seeing Montgomery healthy. Didn't like the pick at the time particularly, but really liked what I saw before he got hurt. Won't be surprised if he's #2 by midseason.
2. TE: I thought Rodgers was 5th-7th round quality when he got drafted. So far he's shown himself to be 4th/5th round quality.
3. WR: I didn't like the Adams pick. I still don't like the Adams pick. I thought he was middle round quality when drafted; now I think I should have rated him late round.
4. OL: I'm still not close to satisfied. I want two OTs drafted, one in the first two rounds.
5. QB: Every HOF QB had at least one down year. 2015 was Rodgers'. He'll be back, as good as ever (at least until the OL gets him hurt).
6. ILB: I liked the Ryan pick. I still like the Ryan pick. Despite his shortcomings he should have been playing more earlier. I still want better at the position.
7. CB: Randall impressed me. After one year, looks like I was wrong. I like the possibilities a Shields/Randall combo offers a lot.
8. CB: Rollins not so much. Maybe at S?
9. CB: Hayward and Hyde. Ho hum. Every team needs a Jarred Bush I suppose. But two of them?
10. NT: Sorry, Raji isn't more than a rotation guy. Guion is a bit more, but upgrading the nose has to be an offseason priority.
11. DL: Daniels is a stud.
12. DL: Is one very good performance against Washington enough to warrant a spot? No.
13. S: Burnett is okay. I still want better. I think Thompson should bring someone in at the position to give him a serious fight for the starting position.
14. P: I know he had the good net average....but to me he was too inconsistent. Bring in some competition.
15. K: Crosby is a stud.
16. Offensive coaching: I don't know what the answer is. I think it might be time for someone with a new, innovative vision. Someone no one knows yet, but who has a "next great offense" notebook he's been putting together as he's worked his way up the pro/college assistant coaching ranks.
17. Defensive coaching: I think the defensive shortcomings are more personnel issues than coaching issues, meaning Capers has had to resort to smoke and mirrors too often. But I am also skeptical of Capers' ever putting together the kind of dominant defense the team should be striving for. I want the next Fritz Schurmer.
18. No way do I get my wish for new OC and DC, though.
19. I probably won't get my early round LT either.
20. And the chances of Ted Thompson being more aggressive with pre-draft free agency haven't changed. Still slim to none.
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Man.... I guess I made the mistake again of using FACTS to back up my points.
Shame on me!!!
Instead of being HAPPY that we have, in fact, had three hall of fame worthy QBs, where I could point out how many teams have never even had ONE, instead some whine that we have "only" had FOUR Super Bowl wins, and five appearances.
13 teams have never even won ONE Super Bowl.
Oh....sorry! Darn FACTS again!!!
Let's face it. If the Packers win the SB next year, but don't the next year, the same ones moaning now will cry how much they suck.
I guess some just have that attitude.
Maybe they can't help it.
And in the end, it IS just a game. NOT life and death. It's supposed to be entertainment.
When it becomes where it makes you cynical and crabby, then it's time to watch something else.
Just my opinion of course.

I'm not sure what you're doing in the above post? It is also a FACT that Tom Brady (ONE HOF QB) has been to SIX SB's which is MORE than OUR THREE HOF QB's combined. That is a FACT. You went on about quoting what has happened over the last 49 years? Brady has been to more SB's in his career than our franchise with THREE HOF QB's has been in 49 years. That is FACT and an ugly one at that.

It is EMBARRASSING to be in 5 SB's in 49 years when New England has a QB who isn't any better than the one we have right now and he's been to more SB's than almost a half century of our franchise.

How isn't it?

Take into consideration RR's has much better hands than Finley ever did, and although he has some work to do, his blocking is far better than Finley's ever was, I would say RR is well on his way to being viewed as a much better TE than Jermicheal Finley, despite him not being born with the god given talent Finley was.

Jermicheal was well on his way to becoming one of the best, shame he was injured, but to say RR is not the answer(which some here have been saying since day 1) is just plain short sighted.
Let's see what happens the next few years.

On what planet do you want a Richard Rodgers vs. a Jermichael Finley. The one where you have no choice. To accept this because you have no choice and make excuses that this is actually a good thing is where credibility goes buh bye.

Another thing about RR is he isn't a head case. He's not predicting he's going to "take over the league" every year, and then not doing so.

Oh yeah, and Aaron doesn't have to have special meetings with him the night before games, to teach him the game plan.
