My brother is handicapped, and due to it he has seizures often. He's had them his whole life. Seizures in general are very tricky and often times are impossible to 'figure' out, but with testing, trial and error, and proper direction-following, you usually can get a good handle on them. Only two times in my memory that my brother has been seriously hospitalized with seizures (and both times they were grand mal seizures). My brother is almost 30 years old for reference.
Knowing that it was most likely an outside factor that caused your daughter's seizure is a good thing, as you can make precautions. When they are seemingly 'random', that's when they get hard/tricky to get a handle on.
