he may think that way now, but clearly he doesn't when he is calling plays. he almost completely avoids he center of the field short of 15 yards downfield.

Some of the missed open field shots, I think are on Aaron Rodgers. I know I have seen numerous times where it appears (I can't say 100% because I'm not Aaron, SURPRISE) that he's completely missing the shallow guys in favor of sideline passes.
