The Packers should win this game just because they’ve had the mini-bye after having played a week ago Thursday, whereas Dallas is coming off a short week due to their recent MNF appearance.
Dallas will also be without Gomer Pyle doppleganger and starting QB Tony Romo.
That said, there will be some interesting things to watch. First of all HC Mike McCarthy is taking back play calling duties. Clements is widely considered to be a major source of the recent shit suckage on offense, I regard him as Aaron’s lap dog. It may take awhile to get back into a normal rhythm on offense, but with Mike calling plays, this team will usually show up for at least TWO quarters.
Second, it sounds like we’re going to start Eddie Lacy again. Apparently he “learned his lesson” already. Let’s hope that’s true. Let’s also hope that Richard Rodgers performance last week is the result of being not hung over. And that Davante Adams will do something similar this week.
We’ve also got Dez Bryant going back up against Sam Shields. Dez is still in tears about what happened last year.
The Cowboys do have a pretty good D. The Packers, who have had problems hanging onto the ball of late will have to avoid turnovers in the rain today. If they can do that, they should be able to get the win.
The real question is, will the Packers get their season back on track in time for the playoffs? Mike’s got four weeks to get this team right. It should start today.
