Davante Adams has a lot more talent than Jeff Janis, but Janis has some break away speed Adams simply does not have. Since they worry about Janis catching the ball and Adams sure as hell hasn't been, I think it's stupid as hell to not trot Janis out on the field.

It would give Janis a chance to make a play, get some fresh legs in there, let a WR take a breather, give the WR coach (if we have one) a chance to talk with (yell) at the WR for blaming the refs and defender for dropping the ball that hit them in the hands or failing to break away from a defender, etc.
And you never know who might break out... Janis could have a random huge game... or being forced to rotate could keep Jones legs more fresh or maybe piss of Adams and he could stop dropping passes. But in the last two games, Lacy and Starks have almost kept up with Jones and Adams in # of catches and the WRs have had a lot more drops and based on position are allowed to get further down field faster.
Also while we're at it, watching Janis catch short passes and break tackles, I wondered if he might be able to be used as a one cut speed RB... get some of the edge runs going which Starks and Lacy struggle more with. But if Lacy is going to be held accountable and lose snapped based on him fumbling, then Adams should also be held accountable and lose snaps for all of his drops.
