Honestly I didn't see Mike McCarthy comments nearly as bad as some of you, because he was asked why he was upset.... he answered directly, honestly and shortly... it wasn't like Pete Carroll going point by point by point on every single thing.
He was asked why he was so worked up, he said he was upset because he thought the Refs missed something. The comment about playing above the officiating wasn't needed by it's what he as a coach would say to his players and probably what he did say to his players and he was in coach mode.
It's like Richard Sherman last year talking smack about Crabtree on the field... he was still in players mode.
If you don't want to hear the players and coaches in their natural environment then don't bring an interviewer and camera person into their wild plains of a grass juggle. And especially don't interview them less than 2 minute after the action stop.
