Two questions; where I'm just going to give some simple options, and ask which would you prefer.

Question 1)
Which would you prefer from a WR?

A) 4 catches for 51 yards with 2 first downs and 2 TDs?
B) 5 catches for 44 yards with 3 first downs and 0 TDs?
C) 5 catches for 47 yards with 3 first downs and 0 TDs?

Question 2)
Which would you prefer from a WR?

A) 4 catches for 51 yards and 2 TDs?
B) 10 catches for 93 yards and 0 TDs?
C) 14 catches for 104 yards and 0 TDs?

What answers did you select?

Explaining what this question is all about:

Don't read this until after making your selections

I know not all things are equal... (IE QB/defense they play with/against) BUT
In week 1, it can be argued that James Jones out played both the #1 WRs of the teams he was released/cut from and depending how much value you put on TDs vs catches/yards also could be argued that he outplayed the whole other roster of WRs

Options A1 and A2 were James Jones week 1 stat line,
Option B1 was Giants' #1 WR Beckham and B2 was all of Giants WR week 1 stats
Option C1 was Raiders' #1 WR Cooper and C2 was all of Raiders WR week 1 stats

Again, not all things were equal, and it was only one week, but still... pretty impressive week compared to those he was released/cut for... stat wise.

Question 1 lacks something I need to know. You don't list Touchdowns, okay, but with the receptions 1 apart and yards just 7 apart the question doesn't really seem of value to me on the surface. If you added how many of those receptions went for 1st downs, then we have something to distinguish them.

Question 2 you gotta take the (at least) 12 points.

BTW, I love when folks use some of the website and forum features like you did with the Spoiler tags! šŸ˜ƒ

I'm glad you loved it... and I enjoy the spoiler option, just never really had a reason to use it.
Also I noticed you loved it so much that you applauded it! šŸ˜‰ šŸ˜
But thank you for the spoiler option (and other options) and saying you enjoyed it šŸ˜

IMO JJ's current value is his ability to go up and fight for the ball.

Look at all three TDs this past week. Mike doesn't scheme to get guys open. He knows he'll get outsmarted most of the time in a chess match. He schemes for match ups.

Janis has raw skills, but he's not gonna go up and fight for that ball. He's a body catcher. It has to come to him.
