Monday marks the 35th anniversary of the greatest play I ever saw in a football game, and a perfect way to celebrate the beginning of Bear week.
That was the season opener where they took the Bears (6 point favortes) to OT, and a blocked field goal went right back into his hands. He scampered left for a 25 yd TD to win it for the good guys.
I am attending a fantasy draft near Chicago tomorrow and I fully intend to toast to this event in front of the whole lot. (Two other GB fans will be there, and the regular waitress...heretofore referred to as my future wife...is also a Packers fan, so I will be in safe company.
